Apple to rebrand Apple Watch operating system as ‘watchOS’ - WWDC 2015

We had seen “the epic center of change” WWDC 15 logo based banners at the Moscone West center, the venue for this year’s WWDC and we would like to show it to you.

We may have finally got some hint. Federico Viticci of MacStories has just published an interesting picture, which shows the banners that have been put up on the second floor of the Moscone West center.

The image is quite blurry but as you can see they seem to highlight Apple’s three platforms, namely iOS, OS X and watchOS. Until now, Apple has officially called the Apple Watch operating system as Watch OS, but based on the banner it looks like Apple is planning to rebrand it as watchOS.

As Benjamin Mayo of 9to5Mac points out, Apple has watchOS even in the filter view of the WWDC app, which he initially thought was a mistake.
